We are consistently developing innovative designs and new structures for paperboard packaging. Marketers and brand managers look to us to develop something unique with the understanding that a box is not just a box – it’s a billboard for selling a product and demonstrating to consumers the product’s benefits. The packaging is designed to stay with consumers so when the product is taken out of the package, the brand is always right there.

Proteus engineers new structures to meet both customers’ needs and anticipate consumer trends. We also consider grocery and box stores: how do we get as much product on a shelf in the smallest area while increasing consumer demand?

Our packaging structures include shapes that fit the hand, curved edges, rounded tops and sides and tube designs.

The optimized package development process includes consideration of packaging issues up front. Innovation is brought into this process by evaluating new packaging shapes for greater consumer appeal and brand image, and for possible cost reductions. We partner with our customers to fully understand what is to be accomplished with their carton. Based on this, we decide which board works most efficiently and is the best solution that enhances the product.
